Although we had only a few days of interaction, I find Darrin to be highly professional. He and his people were available and were quick to respond our inquiries. We had to report the case to the NYPD, and Darrin's investigators provided tremendous help in the process. The NYPD eventually found the person. I believe the coordination from Darrin and his investigators with NYPD facilitated investigation and made final outcome possible. I definitely would recommend Darrin's services if you need a private investigator.

Experiencia fantástica: We hired North American Investigators to conduct surveillance for a domestic concern. Darrin & team were responsive, helpful & quick to pivot the day the surveillance was to begin after it was determined the person being watched was in fact traveling to another state than initially thought. His team was able to successfully complete the surveillance even with the hiccups that occurred related to the changes in location. I would absolutely hire them again if PI services were needed.

Experiencia negativa: This company literally regurgitated the same information that I gave them during the intake. I paid them over $2600 upfront. They responded by copying and pasting my intake details and emailed it back to me as their "findings". NAI is dishonest and unprofessional. So much so that they misled me into believing an authentic investigation would take place. 

Looking back, I should have suspected that NAI wasn't a reputable company. They have less than 10 reviews. Their yelp has a total of four reviews. I also suspect that the handful of reviews are from NAI's family and friends.

NAI ignored all my calls and emails for months. Until I posted a review. They insisted that they were still conducting its investigation. Which was a blatant lie. Steer clear of them.

He was responsive to our needs, gathering the information and background materials and presenting the report that we needed in order to take action. But more importantly, Darrin was sensitive to the emotional stress of the situation. He was always available to us by phone or email, including on weekends, when he coached us through what to say and not say to our parents and to the suspected perpetrator. Experiencia fantástica: The investigator I was working with “Darrin”, was up front from the very beginning. There was no misunderstanding about money and it was explained in detail. Once that is done, Darrin wants you to explain your problem and give him all the information you may have. Some cases are a little harder than others so the case may have to go longer and the expense will be explained to you. It’s a risky business, and you may want more info on your case. But I would say that the chances of getting more info are very high and all worth it. If you need a professional investigator , I would go with the best, “ Retired NYPD . Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to find the relatives of an elderly gentleman with pretty advanced dementia. He was originally from New York but had become estranged from everyone in his family and hadn't talked to any of them since his last visit to NY about 30 years ago. Also, given his dementia, any information he was able to provide about his family was not only outdated but sketchy at best. I didn't know the first thing about hiring a private investigator, so I just looked on the internet and this company was one of the first ones listed. It felt like a great leap of faith to hire someone on the other side of the country, but Darrin was very professional on the phone and also seemed to have a clear understanding of what we were hoping to achieve. I hired him, and a few days later received two calls from New York, one from the son and one from the last living brother of the old gentleman. After a few more phone calls directly between him and his family members, I can't say it's been a total fairy tale ending, but close enough! I'm so glad I made that phone call and would not hesitate to recommend Darrin and his company to anyone else in need of a private investigator.
