I first contacted her distraught with a crisis and discovered by my own experience that others' reviews were indeed true. She was kind, attentive & helpful. She was thoughtful to help us make our financial limitations work with our investigative needs. She empathized with our situation and also took practical action to help us get results. She provides a great blend of professional boundaries and personal availability to discuss our needs. Some people are eager to charge through the nose for every little thing and otherwise heartlessly siphon as much money out of you as possible, but Maria has the integrity and kindness to both tell us ahead of time where she "doesn't want to take our money" if she thinks it won't get much of a result, but also to suggest ideas we hadn't thought of to get the results we're wanting, but in different & more affordable ways.
