Experiencia negativa: Company lies and steals. I went to collect property yesterday and when going through it I noted items missing. When speaking with the desk she told me to make sure I went through the items again so I did. Claim the went through the glove box but nothing from the glove box was in any of the bags. I am missing my dogs nose print that was in the bag as well as well as other items like a magazine from a gun. Called them today to tell them I am missing items and they told me they no longer had my car and they would have to do a investigation to find my items. I asked yesterday if I could go back with someone to check the car and I was told no if i have missing items I needed to call them so I did. Funny how they say they took everything out of the glove box but my registration, which is in the glove box, was not in anything they gave me. CRAPPY company and even CRAPPIER managers.

Experiencia fantástica: While the situation I was in was less than desirable, Angel was the one I communicated with and she made me feel like she cared and didn’t make me feel bad or shame to be in this situation. She initially Wanted to make the repo process easy for everyone including me by allowing me time and giving me a heads up to empty my vehicle if I wanted my items. She definitely has compassion for those who are struggling and she loves good humor. Never left 5 stars for a repo company before but Angel earned it for you!

Experiencia negativa: They are horrible. Was assisting my mom with a vehicle. Saw two young me. Unloading their personal items out of the bin. One of the employees with booty shorts on came out and basically rushed them to get the bin back . It’s already embarrassing and stressful having to go through that , so for her to do that was unprofessional .

Experiencia negativa: Drivers out there trying to get people killed!! This idiot ran me off the road and when reported to the main office they could have cared less. Full incident report given to state police department. There is no place for aggressive driving when you're pulling a 3 ton commercial vehicle! Don't trust this company to haul your vehicles!!

Experiencia fantástica: While my reason for visiting Summs was less than desirable, the staff were friendly and helpful. They never made me feel uncomfortable about the repo, and took special care to bag up EVERYTHING stored in my car. Nothing was missing or damaged. All in all, Summs made a low point in my life easier to get through, and I appreciate that.

Experiencia negativa: missing personal items from vehicle and was not offered the opportunity to pick up my belongings. Instead some of it was dropped off to me at work in a plastic bag. missing a box of newly purchased baby clothes plus more & when asked to be able to check vehicle for missing items i was told they were going out of town n wouldn’t be back for a few days so i wouldn’t be able to check.

Experiencia negativa: Warning! For those who has their vehicle here! Warning! Take precaution! Look they will damage your personal property! They will touch everything and rearrange your whole car! " will " take your staff and place it wherever they feel like it( it should has been in the trunk but throw that out the window) Ex. They put bio hazards in the same bag with non hazards liquid. Disaster my interior( back of my car with white substance ). Can't find my wedding ring. My documents were rearrange. Took my plates off. There's oil in my car and my clothes I left. They will rush you out and make you sign the paperwork before you could even knows what they did. Very much seems like rats works here. I will call the cops and my insurance for what you have done. So call business my @$

Experiencia negativa: Lying is what they are best at! My vehicle was damaged by them…we contacted Steve who requested us to get an estimate for the damages because he agreed they were caused by the tow truck driver. We did that and provided it to him….it’s been weeks now since we have been told a check was going to be mailed certified…and still nothing. We are ready to get a lawyer involved because this is absolutely absurd!

Experiencia negativa: They were sent to repo a vehicle of a family member. They did not tow the vehicle away, they broke in to it. They did a joy ride over 70 miles within less then a 24 hour period, and the only reason they probably stopped was because they used all the gas up. They smoked cigarettes in the vehicle; this family member has children under 5 years old and no smoking is allowed. The alignment is messed up. There is white smoke coming out the exhaust now. When you turn the vehicle makes a weird sound. The real kicker is this family member made payments very month, when they called the car loan company they figured out it was a bank error. They released they vehicle to the family member less than 24 hours after Summs Skip & Collateral Solutions took the vehicle. But they had to wait to the next day because this company will only let you make appointments to pick up your personal property. I understand that the repo order is not their fault but the bank's fault. I believe they did what they did because they did not think the owner would get it back. They have destroyed a young family's transportation with two little kids.

Experiencia negativa: Unfriendly staff, made me wait an hour at a window after I was on time for my appointment. Just wanted to grab my property. On top of this , they provided me with no list of my personal belongings and would not let me search my own vehicle to retrieve those items. Low quality service, zero customer service.

Experiencia negativa: Missed payment on a car, got repoed. That's fine, my fault. Settled with the loan company and went to get my vehicle back. In less than two days they had already sent it to auction. On top of that, when they took my belongings out and "inventoried" it, they stole my belongings. Had a big bottle of Armani Agua Gio in my center console that I had just opened and they straight stole it and had the audacity to lie about it because they had "inventoried" my car and didn't list it (cause they stole it). This company is unprofessional, sketchy as hell, and has the stickiest fingers of any company in the Hampton Roads area.

Experiencia fantástica: Very polite, quick to assist in any way they can. You just need to go there with the understanding that THEY'RE not the reason your vehicle and belongings are there. I was treated with respect and there were no issues with my vehicle and all of my belongings were exactly as I left them.

Experiencia negativa: They reposed my bike broke my gate and now the side of shed is about to fall off. The claims lady has been ducking me for a week with no call back or nothing. Police even put down destruction of property but That's fine cause I will have my lawyer take it from here.

Experiencia negativa: A bunch of lairs! They claimed they did not go into my vechile but there is no way they could see half of the items in my car just from looking in the windows. Do not trust a thing they say. Update: had my van checked over for damages on the underside. Glad these folks are so professional, scraps to the entire under side. But they say they are professional and take great care! Wow I would hate to see what it would look like if they weren't "careful"

Experiencia negativa: If I could give this place negative stars trust me I would. They don't care about the client or your property. And instead of taking responsibility for it they'll blame you instead. All of them are incredibly inconsiderate and rude to the core. I hope someone exposes them for what they really are and shuts them down. They all need to lose their damn jobs just like I lost all my belongings.

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible the people are rude and they go on lunch from 11:30 until 1pm. They put the closed sign on at 4:30PM so if someone did come before 5 it was too late. I feel like the way they operate is to rack up fees since they are closed on weekends.

Experiencia negativa: My first and only experience with this company was more negative than I could explain. After having my vehicle towed into their shop, I realized that several of my possessions were missing. They claimed in the office that no one steals anything in a full inventory is taken of each item found in each vehicle. When I was giving my inventory list of contents of my vehicle, I asked why all of the contents work put on their inventory sheet. I had a game controller stolen and ID stolen as well as several other items. Not to mention that all my property was thrown into bags tipped upside down and I also received back several broken electronic items as well as a GPS and phone. I would have given them 0 stars but the minimum I could leave them was 1. Theft by employees is a serious offense and you should be ashamed of yourselves to allow that in a business environment.

Upon getting my car back, my money is missing out of my car, medical supplies, my wallet, social security card, w2s, clothes, and other misc. Items are all missing.i will be taking them to court but anyone who chooses to use them should know to verify all of your items because someone at their shop is a theif.

These people are absolutely worthless! They should be ashamed of theirselves for the way they conduct business. They have no respect for anyone's property or belongings. Experiencia negativa: Some of the reps were friendly on the phone, but others were rude. I kept getting tossed around between them and the bank's middle man to get a status update on my vehicle's release. Summs would tell me they were waiting on the middle man, and the middle man told me they were waiting on Summs to release my vehicle. I had my car payments set up under the wrong bank account which is why I fell behind on payments. They came and took my car because I missed two payments (never any other missed payments on my account). I really hope nothing is missing from my vehicle when I get it back.

Experiencia fantástica: At the end of the day it's my fault I put myself in a position to have to deal with them and when I got there my truck was in the shape I left it and all my stuff was still in there. Lady at the front was nice, so I can't really be mad at them doing their job and not stealing anything out of my truck. Did a good job.

Experiencia negativa: You will need an appointment to do anything here. If you pick up your property, they charge a $35 handling fee. They will not tell you how much you owe until you are current with your bank. I believe this is because their fees are exorbitant, but they will tell you it's because the repossession fee you pay to the bank will be going towards some of your fees at Summs. After I had paid my bank all my overdue payments and a repossession fee, Summs gave me a breakdown of my fees with them; $150 for a key (if you have a key with locking/unlocking etc it will probably be more expensive, even moreso for a keyless car for a fob), $35 administrative fee, $35/day storage fee.

Experiencia negativa: You would expect a more personable experience when dealing with representatives that regularly handle disgruntled people. These representatives are rude, often escalating or provoking you with body language including rolling of the eyes and walking away while being addressed. They require an appointment to retain your property once it clears the lienholder. They charge a 35$ handling fee for personal effects. Personal effects are summarized "generally" with poor accountability giving risk to property theft/loss.

Experiencia negativa: They took my items out of my car charged me $35 and I was missing some items. No one there shows concern. At the end of the day it's still a business but it's ran like a chop shop. Piss poor customer service and lack of respect for the property of others.
