Negative experience: On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, between 5:30 PM and 5:45 PM, a representative, identified as an African American female with light skin and light brown curly/wavy hair, driving a red car, who stated she was an office employee of Anderson Security/Pal American Security, approached me at my place of work. She initiated a conversation, inquiring about my job duties. I responded by providing information about my role and a brief summary of my professional background. The interaction was suddenly and severely undermined when a second Anderson Security/Pal American Security employee, who was speaking on the phone with the field representative, issued a directive. This individual instructed the representative in the car to convey a highly unprofessional and disrespectful message to me: "to shut the hell up," stating that they "didn't ask about all that." The field representative immediately expressed an apology for her colleague's shocking behavior. Conclusion While I am not directly associated with Anderson Security/Pal American Security as either a client or an employee, this unsolicited and public display of hostility and extreme discourtesy is deeply concerning. Such a severe lapse in professional decorum, particularly in a public setting and involving direct communication through a company representative, strongly suggests a significant failure in the organization's standards for staff conduct and interpersonal skills training. This behavior compels me to question the company's internal culture: Employee Treatment: If staff are comfortable using such language and behavior toward a member of the public, how are Anderson/Pal American Security's own employees treated? Client Relations: What level of professionalism and respect can clients expect if this is the public-facing standard of communication?
Negative experience: I'M LITERALLY TRYING TO TRACK DOWN MY DAD AND HE'S SITTING ACROSS FROM ME AND YOU CAN'T EVEN GIVE ME A PICTURE OF HIM HOW AM I SUPPOSED TRACK DOWN MY COUSINS TO MAKE SURE THEY'RE STILL ALIVE !!!!!!also yes I track down my own family. DON'T QUESTION ME OKAY!....YOU NEVER KNOW OKAY.and yes I'm overprotective
Negative experience: I was walking down the canal around 16th St and Indian School, on the sidewalk, and two of their trucks drove past me from behind, without warning or indication that they were there at all. I could have easily stepped to my left, not expecting a vehicle to be on a sidewalk, and been hit by the lead vehicle. When I told them they are not cops but private security and citizens, one of them reached their hand out the window and moved their hand in a "yapping" motion as in "yeah yeah, keep talking shut up whatever". These guys are out here thinking they can't be touched and are very unprofessional to the general public. I contacted their home office to let them know and to say I would be informing the police about what they are doing and they asked for that police report, knowing full well that this is private property owned by SRP and the police can't do anything and whom refused to take a report when I called them. I'm not surprised that they have 3.2 Start rating, with 89 reviews, and when I told them this, the supervisor that I spoke with said "yeah, that's nice".
Negative experience: Horrible service at Silverleaf and at Dessert Mountain.

Negative experience: These guys are a clowns! trying to stop any sort of bike on the canal. Trying to use their truck to stop you and all jumping out of 2/3 cars to try to get you. They are not cops and can not try to stop or detain you. Bunch of punks
Negative experience: Lack of training and communication unarmed guards don’t know how to speak respectfully or de-escalate a situation you top flight security not a police officer do your job n protect the property

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with this company’s performance and question their suitability for handling critical contracts such as the SRP account. The leadership is subpar, and it is concerning to think they are responsible for securing some of Arizona's most vital infrastructure. What should be a straightforward task to patrol and protect these assets is being mishandled, and this situation feels like an accident waiting to happen.
Negative experience: This company is the worst they charge you for everything if you are on the srp account they treat you like a child and the higher ups think they are untouchable even though srp doesn’t even want security especially armed ones lol druggies and people who steal things also work for them what a great company.
Negative experience: Terrible Firm, Lack of intergirty and respect for client's, guards are all neglegent and will disobey post orders over personal views, very unprofessional company to ever be accosiated with.
Negative experience: My experience comes from riding my bike along the canal. SRP supposedly hired this company to stop the homeless from camping along the canal; they are targeting anyone who looks remotely homeless. I watched them steal a vintage bike from a homeless man and laugh about it. They are not good people.

Negative experience: These guys are a joke at fountain of the sun. So you've got Christine who likes to have a power trip. So sometimes people don't have the address? And they get mad because they have to go to a different page.Oh no you little cry baby. Then Tina who works monday through friday. She is getting just as bad and mean. Then the big guy that has sits behind the desk is a joke. Supposed to be supervisor.
Fantastic experience: Professional and detail-oriented agency that treats it's employees and clients with respect and urgency. Anderson Security Agency has certainly earned my 5-star rating.

Negative experience: Terribly rude people. And honestly not the brightest...
Negative experience: Took their online guard card class and it took 2 weeks for them to correctly fill out the 2 simple forms I needed for DPS. Now DPS is telling me that Anderson specifically wants the card sent to them first. I live in Tucson. After questioning them again Sarah tells me MAYBE it will come to them and DPS was lying. Not like I am trying to get a job or anything Important. I will just sit and watch the grass grow and pray. These people take no pride in their jobs and treat you like an annoyance.

Negative experience: Anderson security is garbage. Since Anderson took over security at Fountain of the Sun in Mesa, the line to get into the community backs up into the street. Everyday I work there looks like an In and Out Burger grand opening. They’re incredibly slow and obviously don’t really know what they’re doing.
Fantastic experience: Very professional. Sarah and Amanda will always take care of you. If your looking for a job in Security this is the best place to start.
Negative experience: An anderson guard was short with his patience w me and wouldnt help me out and let me into my own building....left my fob inside....thank god the proeprty owner happened to there ....not like i havent been living for the last 7 years....
Fantastic experience: I just started and everyone has been fantastic and training with Thomas. He is a great trainer and makes everything easy. The company has so much to offer that other companies do not. Family owned and they make you feel like family. Good pay excellent treatment. Come to Anderson. By the way l am sick of people putting down Amderson if you have a problem with them. It's you not them.

Negative experience: Anderson pickup truck license plate number ck20677 backed into my car at a QT gas station and took off. That is a FELONY to commit a hit and run.

Fantastic experience: I used Anderson Security for my daughter’s wedding this last weekend. The guard was prompt, polite, uniform clean and did exactly what we needed him to do. I was very impressed with his professionalism and will use Anderson again.
Fantastic experience: The Arizona Assisted Living Homes Association used Anderson Security at its annual conference last year. The guard was timely, professional and courteous. And, the appearance of a security guard gave the conference a very professional appearance. We had a parking incident that could have escalated, but was resolved because the guard was present and intervened. Thank you Anderson Security!
Negative experience: Mostly, *mostly* average as far as security companies go. To their credit, it seems like they try but they're ultimately detached from what goes on at the ground level. They send out "satisfaction surveys" but never address any responses. I found it morbidly hilarious and insulting every time we (where my contract was) got one of these. Their policy of appearing like para-police is also eyebrow-raising worthy for those who work at industrial sites and outlying posts with dirt. Just come out and say it, Anderson Ltd., you need them (your ground-level employees) to be free advertising, no more, no less. Their manual states "a clean shave will give the officer the confidence they need to do their job" or something like that. Poor reasoning; don't insult our collective intelligence. I wonder if they can hear me from the 1940's...?
Negative experience: My car was taken from a shopping center today @ 35th ave and Thunderbird at around 12 o'clock today. I asked the gaurd that was there if he saw anything and he tell me no and just laughs. Why did they hire security gaurd that dont even do their job. I was parked maybe 15 feet from the gaurd asked him if he saw anything unusual he say no but my truck was taken probably right in front of his eyes. Anderson Security sucks I would not recommend them to anyone. They might not do their job correctly.

Negative experience: They don't pay attention to the care of there guards. And They don't listen to reason. They treat you like a dam machine and not a human.

Negative experience: This morning I was in a community to meet with a client for the first time. I missed the turn into her neighborhood and had to make a u-turn. 30 minutes into meeting with this homeowner and giving her an estimate for 3 new air conditioners potentially a $20,000 project Capt. Sean Yonts appears in this homeowners backyard, interrupts us and demands to speak to the owner of the Tundra. "That is me I say". Clearly I'm with a homeowner and he says "you need to come with me and leave the premises!". How embarrassing for me and even the homeowner was very uncomfortable. He insisted I didn't check in with the front gate because a camera caught me doing a u-turn and briefly driving down a one-way on accident. I explained how I did check in. He called and verified on speaker in front of us and the homeowner. I apologized and said I'm sorry it was an accident. But to Mr. Capt. I was now his pray and he was hungry! The appointment obviously went to heck at this point. The homeowner and I were very uncomfortable and really could not focus on the point in hand. The security officer tried to remove me from the backyard but the homeowner said "we are almost done please let him finish." After the appointment the security guy is waiting for me in front of the house to cite me for what was clearly a mistake. I apologized numerous times for having made this mistake but he didn't care. At the end of the day I'm not terribly concerned with the $100 citation more the extreme unprofessionally of this company and that the way he handled this very well may have cost me a $20,000 job. I will pay my violation fee and pursue this company for damages to my business legally.
