Fantastic experience: I contacted this PI firm to search out my son’s mother who moves, runs, or hides to avoid contact with me. I needed updated phone number and address asap. In my experience, I handed over information I had to Jered & his team and had a location and pictures of my son within 4-5 days even with the team traveling to another county. I was told “This guy is not a good person.” Telling me, Jered & his team was gearing up to serve a warrant on a very bad person who is around my son, unfortunately the warrant was no longer active. But action shows how proactive & caring they are about public safety. JIS went above and beyond, were quick and effective, and produced results that were otherwise unobtainable.

Negative experience: I 1000% agree with the review from TX Longhorns. Do not retain this person they will not respond to emails. Do not go with them based on reviews alone. I have wasted money I have not been anble to recover and have not been able to get a response from them. Very poor service!! Do not use them! **Edited to include the most recent email I sent to you since you believe it's professional to air the details of someone's case if they disagree with you and the way you provided service and choose to leave a review. This email details the dates of multiple attempts to contact you and my request for a refund. Happy to post all of my emails in full to further support my review** While I did not encounter any rudeness, my experience closely mirrors others’ frustration regarding the lack of communication and the dismissive attitude shown through unreturned emails. Communication was prompt and clear until payment was received; afterward, I had to send multiple emails requesting updates, which were met only with a few photos and minimal information. I believe most customers would consider this level of communication inadequate, especially after paying for a service. At one point, I even attempted to recover my payment through my credit card company due to the lack of response to my basic inquiries. Several of my emails have gone unanswered. Specifically, I sent requests for updates on August 19, 2025, and August 21, 2025. I received a brief reply on August 23, 2025, with a few photos, but these did not provide meaningful information about the investigation. I replied to that email but received no further response. On September 12, 2025, I sent another email expressing my disappointment with the service but again received no reply. On October 15, I wrote once more to request a refund or another reasonable resolution, reiterating my frustration with the lack of communication. By my count, I sent at least five emails and received only one response. This does not include any emails I sent prior to July 1, 2025, with no response, in which I expressed concern about the ongoing lack of communication. Additionally, I specifically requested at least once an update regarding your inquiry into the background and the terms of parole to which you said you would be looking into in my initial request. Those requests also went unanswered. As a paying customer, I believe it is your responsibility to provide proof that the services were performed by whatever agreeable means by both parties. Any reasonable consumer would expect the same. If phone communication was your preferred method of communication, there were ample opportunities to set that expectation throughout this process and in response to my multiple requests for information. I want to emphasize that I am willing to work toward a resolution. At no point did I request any services that were unreasonable or outside the scope of my original request. My expectations have always been reasonable and I feel I have also been very patient in this process. At this point I just would like to see where my $900 was spent and what was uncovered in the process. Again,I feel like this is a reasonable request. Given these facts, I feel my experience and review of the services provided are accurate.

I reached out on a Friday evening and received preliminary information within a few hours. By Monday, I had a full report that was thorough, well-organized, and confirmed my suspicions about this person. Professional, responsive, and reliable. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I hired J.I.S private Investigators (Jered) and he failed me. I hired him to prove a gate my neighbor said I broke. I hired him and asked him to take a video of gate that wasn’t broken and he failed to take a video of it. He showed up to court and admitted to me that he needed the experience because he has only been a Private Investigator for 3 years. He sounded very uneducated in his work and very not sure of his education on private investigator work he does. Do not hire this company. Jered has only been an investigator for 3 years and he needs more experience. I give him a 0 out of 10. I hired him and he never contacted me with updates . I had to call him every month or so. He should pay my money back to me since I hired him to take the video and he never took video but charged me $500.00 for a picture that I already had. This company is a fraud. M
