Negative experience: They are a joke wanted to charge me twice my lawyer called for proof that I paid and they said I had to pay again for a new bond when I paid them in July all we needed was proof or to reinstate.Another bail bondsman spoke up and said they are crooks and are known forbdoing that to people.If that bailbondsman didn't speak up I'd be in jail right now(9/13/24)!!!!!!! Go with someone else this is not it hopefully people read this before they might have to go through something similar!!!!

Negative experience: Will never do business with these people again they still owe my guys $2000 never paid them for an extradition we did for them here in Colorado. First, they wanted to play the catch and release game and then got mad when I told them we were not going to do that because no police department wanted to be put in that situation. It was either bring the guy back to California or leave him here in Colorado so we agreed on $2000 to bring him back to them so they can take him back to California and they literally screwed us out of $2000 . I still have the paperwork and I still have the contract that was signed and if I have to take you to court, I will and I will turn $2000 into $10,000 if not more so which side are you guys trying to be on?

Negative experience: Josh from Gotham argued with me, threaten not to help and then hung up on me. Horrible service. From a stressful situation to an even more horrible experience.

Negative experience: After sending information 4 separate times, I wouldn't get a notification stating they received it, so then, finally, I would call them. Then, they would tell me that they needed something else. They did this to me four times, finished paying them the money at around 5:30 pm, and didn't even post the bond until 2:30 am that morning. That was ridiculous.

Positive experience: Easy, straightforward, and fast. It was a pleasure doing business with your company.

Negative experience: This place never answers the phone. It was almost impossible to get ahold of a live person! Had to keep trying for several hours on multiple occasions. Then, once we had submitted all the paperwork we were told that it was approved but that we would have to pay $450 dollars more than what they had originally quoted us, but we agreed to pay it anyway. I submitted my ID and was instructed to fill out a payment authorization form that they would be sending me however, two hours later, still hadn't received it. I decided to give them a call to follow up and once again, after several attempts to reach someone, I was told that the application had been rejected. When I asked to speak with the person that had all of a sudden rejected it (even after already being told it was approved) the gentlemen said that he just went on break so I couldn't speak with him! And we haven't been able to get a hold of anyone since. How shady is that?! Very unprofessional!

Negative experience: Your reps are rude and insensitive. I was trying to get some information and he hung up on me. If it was up to me I would never use then again because of how I was treated.

He suggested they might give me a discount on the bail amount then proceeded to get an attitude and interrupted me saying "nobody make us do anything" when I mentioned my attorney said something similar. Negative experience: I regret ever bailing my husband with this company. I don’t recommend Gotham Bail Bonds they only help you get out for couple of days and the day you appear in court you end up back in jail. I bailed my husband and on his first court appearance he was arrested. The bail company fail to provide me with the documentation were it stated they were only allowing him to stay out until his court day. I received the contract letter they sent the court which they never provided me a copy with. I was current with all my payments I even paid a month in advance before they forfeited the bail and now they are still charging me which I don’t think is fair.
