Fantastic experience: We appreciated Mr. Scott and Ms. Boffano's efforts to notify the Office of the Attorney General of my Civil Action 1:25-cv-02403 against the City of Durango, La Plata Sheriff's Office, DA, and ADA. I seek no monies. Anything for the children and the almighty Rule of Law. Tks, Mr. Scott and Ms. Boffano for your patience toward my procedural inexperience.

Negative experience: Waste of my money and time. TF spoke to the defendant's roommate, confirmed the defendant was there but for some reason did not have him serve the papers. Lazy service. I got the completed return of service by another professional process server that actually did his job. In response to business owner: Incorrect, it was accepted by the court and pre-trail is set. So yes, the roommate can be served on behalf of the defendant. Thanks again for wasting my time and money.

I had to serve someone who was being evasive and was rather difficult to serve (no daytime address, no listed workplace, and was living with a relative). I had also previously attempted to have them served through El Paso County Sheriff’s office, but they were not able to serve successfully. I chose Trailfinder because their website was easy to navigate and I was quickly able to upload my documents online and select an option for process server, which I chose the “5-day rush service” option. Positive experience: Ran a skip tracing on someone I am trying to sue in small claims court. They found his new address and when the paperwork was served the person there said he moved out 3 days prior. The service did deliver what they said they would, which is up to 4 visits, but after the the first they sent a receipt letting me know they moved. Affidavit of non-service.

Negative experience: I would put zero stars if it allowed me to do so. I paid the fee for 4 attempts over 10 days. The door was answered 3 out of 4 times and a time that the respondent would be home was provided to the server, yet they continued to come back before that time, and roughly the same time each attempt. Save your money and go with a different server that will actually get the job done.
