Negative experience: Terrible After paying nearly £1000 got no where closer to finding my father, only thing I got was my original birth certificate which I could of got myself putting in different names to the births records. Did no leg work just computer searches and more than likely paid someone else to do the work, went to the area myself and in 8 hours of walking around and enquiring i found out not only my fathers business address but who his accountant was and who sold the business to him. If you are using this company i strongly recommend you have a written agreement of exactly how much your going to pay.

It is not our custom, practice or policy to discuss specific details of any case in public forum. It is also not our intention to enter into a heated argument. That said - and to be quite clear - we will always take on board any legitimate criticism where it is justified and applicable. Sadly, that is not the case with this comment and, in this instance, a measured response is appropriate.

It should be known that the author's account of this case does not accurately reflect the truth of the investigation. There is no mention of the considerable time and effort we spent on the case - or mention of the briefest of client supplied details. It also does not highlight the significant personal information we did manage to obtain and which, in turn, was supplied by us to the author.

In summary, we are understandably disappointed that the author has felt it necessary to express their dissatisfaction through this medium rather than discuss their concerns directly with us. Had this course of action been taken, then this comment would never have arisen.
