Office staff kept me up to date and made frequent calls to ensure I knew what was happening during the process.
3 months ago Negative experience: I am posting this review to share my experience regarding a County Court Judgment (CCJ) enforcement (Ref: HC10028) handled by Absolute Enforcement between February 2025 and October 2025. Factual Timeline: Duration: The case was open for approximately 9 months. Action Taken: Despite the debt being just under £10,000, only three site visits were recorded during this entire period. Outcome: During these months, the debtor company was able to complete corporate filings (September) and eventually cease trading/move locations before assets were secured. My Observations: In my opinion, the management of this case lacked the necessary urgency. I found the communication to be a significant hurdle; my assigned case manager appeared either under-resourced or unresponsive to the evolving situation. When told the company changed their corporate head office address, Absolute Enforcement wanted nothing further with the case and sent me a closed case report. As a result of what I perceive to be a lack of proactive enforcement, I have likely lost thousands of pounds as the debtor has now vanished. I would advise others to carefully consider whether this firm has the resources to prioritize their high-value claims.

Enforcement activity is carried out in line with statutory powers, compliance requirements, and proportionality, regardless of whether the debt value is £1,000 or £100,000. Our approach does not change based on claim size.
Unfortunately, enforcement outcomes are ultimately dictated by the debtor’s circumstances. Where a debtor ceases trading, relocates, or has no seizable assets available at the time of attendance, recovery may not be possible despite appropriate action being taken. This is a risk inherent in enforcement and one that is outside the control of any enforcement agent.
In this instance, once it became clear that the debtor company had changed circumstances and enforcement options were exhausted under the relevant regulations, a closure report was issued in line with our professional obligations. Continuing enforcement where no lawful route remains would not be appropriate or compliant.
We respectfully disagree with the suggestion that this matter was not prioritised or managed professionally. That said, we do appreciate feedback and continually review our processes, communication, and resourcing to ensure we deliver the highest possible standards of service.

4 months ago Fantastic experience: As an expat and a new comer in the city I was tricked by then handy man contractor I had hired for a large amount. I was quite lost while searching for an Enforcment agency and am delighted that I signed up with AE. I had signed up on the 1st of October and received all the outstanding amount by the 18th of November. Harvey Brown was very helpful during the whole time sharing timely updates and next steps. I would recommend them to anyone.

5 months ago Negative experience: Paid them to collect a debt, nothing happened for months repeatedly chased them to be told there was an “allocation issue” chased again a month or so later to be told someone will be visiting. Roll on another 6 months to be told the debt can’t be collected and I need to PAY ANOTHER £90 for them to close the case! Absolutely useless would be a better name. I’m now hundreds down as well as the £2000 original debt never again

We take all feedback constructively and, in this case, have reviewed your file and would like to reiterate that enforcement visits were carried out in July, August and October in full accordance with the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013. The debt was against a limited company, while the address provided was a residential property. By law, Enforcement Agents can only take control of goods that are proven to belong to the named debtor — in this case, the company — and not those belonging personally to directors, occupants, or third parties.
On two occasions our Enforcement Agent was refused entry, and on the third visit there was no response at the address. No company assets were visible, and multiple telephone attempts were made without success. Without lawful access or identifiable company assets, we were legally prevented from progressing enforcement further.
The closure fee you mention covers the statutory costs associated with the enforcement stage and the visits already undertaken. We appreciate that this outcome is frustrating, especially when recovery proves impossible, but our team acted strictly within the law and with full transparency throughout the process.

I think our case was a particular tough one, but Jane and her team were in constant contact with the debtor and they were able to recover all the money owed to us. We will happily use them again. 8 months ago Negative experience: Absolute Enforcement is an Absolute Disappointment – Services Not Delivered since March 2025. I paid Absolute Enforcement on 03 March 2025 to escalate a CCJ and obtain a Writ of Control from the High Court and enforce the recovery of my money owed to me. This was approved by the Royal Courts of Justice Group - Foreign Process Section of the HM Courts & Tribunals Service, London. It’s now 30 July 2025, and despite repeated follow-ups, they have failed to deliver the service I paid for. I began keeping records of my calls and emails from 24 July 2025. That day, a male staff member [name withheld) said he was the only one at the office and that he’d pass my message to the person handling my case [her name withheld] - who supposedly worked from home. No callback. On 29 July 2025, a female staff member [name withheld] told me the case handler was on holiday and would return to work on 30 July 2025. She promised to investigate and call me back. Again, no callback. On 30 July 2025, after speaking to my legal adviser, I sent an official email to the named female individual at Absolute Enforcement handling the case. Within 23 minutes, I received a reply stating they were “awaiting confirmation from their Legal team to proceed with Enforcement” — despite having already paid and previously been told the Legal team had approved "we can now proceed" enforcement using the Sealed Certificate on 7 April 2025. At 4 PM today, 30 July 2025, I called again. My call was ignored until I tried multiple options. When I finally got through, I was told the case handler had “just left the office for home after her official meeting.” This pattern of avoidance and contradictory communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. I’ve dealt with three different staff members, none of whom seem to have a grasp of my case. Their internal communication is chaotic, their professionalism lacking, and their accountability nonexistent. I’ve now requested a refund. Based on my experience — and similar reviews from other clients — I strongly advise the public to "GO ELSEWHERE". Absolute Enforcement is unreliable, evasive, and unprofessional. Never again. Absolute Enforcement is an Absolute JOKE!

8 months ago Negative experience: Unfortunately we have had shocking service from Absolute enforcement. Over the last 7 months they have only sent bailiffs round twice to only one of the addresses we provided. They have done no research into the debtors company at all and seem to ignore any updates I have researched and given them. In these 7 months they have only contacted us twice and seemed unaware the debtor had not paid the first installment , when I called to enquire. Sadly I would no recommend Absolute enforcement and advise anyone to go elsewhere.

10 months ago Negative experience: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not send Absolute Rubbish any money. They have robbed me and Kayleigh Ingham, Andew Winson, Ash and Hannah (All Trustpilot Reviews) of advance payment for work they did not do. Absolute Rubbish, I want my money, that you have taken from me for court fees , not paid to the court, and work which you did not do. You can look up Absolute Rubbish reviews on Trustpilot and you will see, a lot of negative reviews about them. The Ombudsmen - Civil Enforcement Association - have stated that Absolute Rubbish are NOT registered with them. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Dont send these people your hard earned money. Look for an alternative.
11 months ago Negative experience: I am so very disappointed, angry, dissatisfied and exasperated with this company and would most certainly NOT recommend them to anyone. Do not use them, they take your money and do NOTHING, I opened a request for them to execute a High Court Writ, provided all the requested paperwork and paid them their fees in full. This was over six months ago and nothing has been done!! All that has happened is that I have been given the run-around since then. I have been consistently misinformed by their staff, with different reasons provided for the delay EACH TIME I have called them. Even when requesting the matter to be escalated to someone senior, I get promised a call back and nothing happens and when I chase senior management they are always "unavailable" . They take money and do nothing. Shameless EDIT:: now they are using bully boy tactics to get me to take this review down, alleging they have reputedly told us to visit the Money Claims Court to get them to "stand down" the order. Shame for them, that I have kept records of all email correspondence along with calls made where we have been repeatedly been given different reasons for the faliure to comply with the instructions given. They are now refusing to return the money we paid to them - so yes, shameless

We take client concerns seriously and are committed to delivering a professional and transparent service. However, we must correct several inaccuracies in this review.
The review was written by the representative of the claimant — not the claimant themselves. This representative initially claimed to be a carer and later claimed to be a solicitor, yet has demonstrated a lack of understanding of basic legal processes, which calls that claim into question.
The issue in this matter arose before we were instructed. The representative incorrectly selected “Request Warrant of Control” via Money Claim Online, when they should have selected “Request Judgment”. Without a County Court Judgment (CCJ), it is not legally possible for us to obtain a High Court Writ of Control.
We have explained this clearly and repeatedly, both in email and during recorded phone calls. We also advised that this is a straightforward fix — simply contact Money Claim Online with the claim number, explain the error, and request that the judgment be entered. Once this is done, we are fully prepared to proceed with enforcement.
If the representative were a qualified solicitor, we would reasonably expect them to either understand this process or to follow the instructions provided. Unfortunately, the error has not been corrected.
As part of your instruction, we incurred non-recoverable court fees. Our terms of service — agreed at the outset — clearly state that fees are non-refundable once court action has been taken.
Our staff have acted professionally and respectfully throughout, despite receiving hostility and threats. We strongly refute the defamatory claims made in this review and reserve our right to take appropriate legal action if these are not corrected or removed.
Should you require independent support to correct the error on Money Claim Online, we recommend contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau, who can offer free legal advice and guidance.
We remain willing to assist with enforcement once the correct paperwork is in place. Absolute Enforcement Ltd is committed to supporting all clients — but we must also protect our staff and business from false and misleading public statements.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Simply Amazing!! Like many we had run out of options to reason with a rogue builder. Monies paid and materials not delivered efforts with a third party order or small claims after 3 years had been dismissed by the debtor. We engaged the firm, elevated the matter to high courts and within days of the notice of enforcement we had settlement. Job well done - Thank you!!!

2 years ago Negative experience: This company was instructed to obtain and enforce a High Court Writ for a large sum of money, 4 months later no collection of money, payment agreement or collection of a vehicle has been made! During that time various fees were requested for DVLA and HPI checks on vehicles which weren’t the problem, however a fee of £6,000 out of the blue was requested for taking and storing vehicle! At no prior point was such a fee mentioned to remove the vehicle and store before going to a possible auction, this should be a fee the debtor should have to pay not the claimant. You would think after a claim had been to court because they are owed money that the claimant wouldn’t be required to pay such a fee or have such funds for a collection, that should down the the debtor. The agents attended the property various times, however they did this during work normal working hours of the day. Given the debtors job there would be little chance they would be home between 9-5 so visits at that time were pointless. The agency visited the property for a 4th time to which they carried out the same visit as what they did on the 3rd time! I WOULD NOT recommend hiring this company to carry out a high court writ due the length of time taken, high fees randomly quoted and lack of contact/updates. Updates were only given after I emailed or called which shouldn’t be the case. We will be taking this case to another company who do not charge any collection and storage fees to the claimant. During this length of time the debtor could quite easily sell their vehicle to which we would then have nothing to collect

I demand high standards from my door staff, and Chris and his team deliver in spades. All highly trained to make my customers feel at ease which is not as easy as that sounds. So many get the key elements of this job wrong, but the Absolute guys are spot on. Treating our customers like their own, but strong enough to deal with problems should they arise. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed.
